  3.     REMOVED. U.S. District Judge Walter L. Nixon Jr.; after being
  4. convicted by the Senate of lying to a grand jury. Impeached by the
  5. House last May, Nixon, 61, had planned to return to the bench in
  6. Mississippi after serving a five-year sentence for perjury. He is
  7. the second federal judge in two weeks to be removed from the bench
  8. for criminal activity.
